A Phenomenal TÜBİTAK Success by the VSHS

Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services achieved an important success with two projects accepted within the scope of “TÜBİTAK 2209-A Support Program for Research Projects of University Students” in the first semester, 2022.

Students of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) continues to achieve important success. Students who carried out scientific projects were deemed worthy to receive support for their two projects.

The project titled “Beslenmenin Optimizasyonu ile Fonksiyonel Anaerobik ve Kuvvet Antremanının Serebral Palsi Yönetiminde Erg ve Vep Destekli Etkilerinin Değerlendirilmesi: Bir Olgu Sunumu” carried out by the Electroneurophyisiology Program student Hilal Akkuş under the consultancy of Manager of the VSHS Assoc. Prof. Mesut Karahan, was deemed worthy for the support by TÜBİTAK Support Program.

Moreover, the Project titled “Benserazid Türevi 2-Amino-3-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-N'-(2,3,4-Trihydroxybenzyl) Propanehydrazide Bileşiğinin Sentezi ve Ccd-1079Sk Deri Fibroblast Hücreleri Üzerinde Sitotoksik Aktivitesinin Belirlenmesi” carried out by the Laboratory Technologies Program Yunus Emre Toprak under the consultancy of Asst. Prof. Salih TUNCAY, was also deemed worthy for the support by TÜBİTAK Support Program.

Assoc. Prof. Mesut Karahan: “We aim to raise graduates who are the ones demanded in the sector.”

Manager of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services Assoc. Prof. Mesut Karahan stated that they put effort that the students can execute their education processes ideally and especially they aim to raise graduates who are the ones demanded in the sector. Assoc. Prof. Karahan said that “therefore, he thinks that it is possible to create and improve new perspective in terms of science for their occupation with project works and creating, designing and executing a project contain very important experiences. All faculty members aim this with their students.”.

Tuncay, “Bu kapsamda ön lisans öğrencilerinin mesleki uygulamalara yatkınlıklarının zaten var olduğunu ve bu emeklerin bir proje kazanımı ve ardından ürün oluşumu ile taçlanacak olmasının çok kıymetli olacağını” söyledi.

Asst. Prof. Salih TUNCAY expressed that acquiring the project culture will provide advantages for the students in every stage of their life and it will provide a great achievement in their professional life, moreover, it will keep the sprite of entrepreneurship alive. Asst. Prof. Tuncay said: “Students of associate degree programs have tendency for the occupation applications within this context. It will be very valuable that these labors will be a n outcome of a project  and it will be adorned with a product creation.
