Uskudar University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk was elected president of the 11^th National Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Congress. Konuk was elected president after more than half of the faculty members who voted for him were nominated even though he was not a candidate.  

The National Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Congresses, which have been held for many years, aim to share current information in the field of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology among our country's researchers with the fact of increasing quality and reliability in scientific studies. In 2022, Uskudar University Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk will chair the annual congress to make significant contributions to our country and the world of science.

Konuk, Head of The Department of Molecular Biology and PARGE Coordinator at Uskudar University, was elected president of the congress with the nomination of more than 50% of the faculty members who voted, even though he was not a candidate.
