A seminar titled "Mind Construction and Search for Meaning with the Mana-i Harf (the other indicative meaning, meaning by letter)" was held in cooperation with Üsküdar University, Risale-i Nur Institute and Şekercihan Association. Prof. Necati Aydın from the Department of Finance at Alfaisal University was the guest of the seminar. Emphasizing that atheism spreads like a religion, Aydın drew attention to the fact that it is an unconscious deism. Mentioning that a process has begun that separates human beings from those who created them, Prof. Necati Aydın said that human beings have forgotten their own truth.
In the seminar held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Yuşa Conference Hall, Prof. Necati Aydın made important evaluations on the topic of mind construction and the search for meaning.
Üsküdar University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of English Translation and Interpreting, Asst. Prof. Nafi Yalçın also attended the seminar.
"There is an unconscious deism"
Pointing out that atheism spreads like a religion, Prof. Necati Aydın stated that there is a deist religiosity. Aydın stated that "The fastest growing religion in the world is not Islam, but atheism. Atheism spreads like a religion. This has exceeded 50 percent in Europe. There is also an increase among Muslims. The biggest danger here is that the person says, 'I believe' and has a hidden understanding of deism without realizing it. When you look at modern Muslims and question their minds, there is an unconscious deism. There is a deistic religiosity, even if it is religious. It is a huge problem, and this can be a perplexing situation."
A process has begun that disengages individuals from the one who created them...
Stating that secular understanding is spreading effectively, Prof. Necati Aydın stated that "A process has begun that disengages us from our Lord, from the One who created man. The disengagement is experienced by telling people, 'You have the power, you believe in yourself, trust in yourself, discover your strength, trust your strength, you do not need God.' Under the guise of motivation and personal development, they injected into people's minds an understanding that separates the person from God, which is a secular understanding. For example, Tony Robbins says, ‘Unleash the power within you, you have unlimited power, discover that power, withstand that power.' We see that this message is being spread very effectively. In fact, there is an idea that says, 'If you are helpless, you are the remedy. In fact, the opposite also applies, 'If you are the remedy, you are helpless.' Because you have no power, how will you find a remedy? In fact, this is the problem that people face and they forget their own truth..."
