Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör Attended the Opening Ceremony of the 2024-2025 Academic Year
The "2024-2025 Higher Education Academic Year Opening Ceremony" was held at the Presidential Complex Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Council of Higher Education (CoHE). Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör and the accompanying delegation attended the ceremony.

The "2024-2025 Higher Education Academic Year Opening Ceremony" held at the Presidential Complex with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was attended by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Communication Asst. Prof. Ceren Saran Doğan and Assoc. Prof. Esennur Sirer, Head of the Department of Radio, Television and Cinema of the Faculty of Communication.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, CoHE President Prof. Erol Özvar, CoHE members, university rectors and students attended the ceremony held at Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center.
Speaking at the ceremony, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that "The greater the value given to science and science, the brighter the future of a country. The centers that produce knowledge are universities. Academies are not only a place for knowledge transfer, but also a ground for evaluating the ideas that the country needs."
CoHE President Prof. Erol Özvar stated that Türkiye's progress in international university rankings is an indicator of its approaches that encourage quality, innovation, diversity and competitiveness in higher education.
