Üsküdar Medical students ranked 3rd in TEKNOFEST
Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine students continue to add new achievements to their success. The NeuroSpectra team, under the consultancy of Head of the Department of Medical Biology Asst Prof. Burcu Türkgenç, achieved a great success by ranking in 3rd place in the TEKNOFEST 2024 Biotechnology and Innovation-Rare Diseases competition. The team, which reached the finals with their project titled "An Innovative Approach in ALS Treatment: Progranulin Enhancement and Autophagy Activation", had the opportunity to present their projects to the Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kaç at the final stage of the competition. The project of Üsküdar Medical students was highly appreciated.

The NeuroSpectra team included Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine students Rabia Nur Gökkurt, Nida Açıkgöz, F. Nidal Şat and Molecular Biology and Genetics Master's student Büşra Güler.
