Visit from Kazakh National Art Academy to Üsküdar University...

The meeting, which took place in the senate hall of Üsküdar University, was held with the participation of the Rector of the Kazakh National Art Academy Sharipbek Amirbekov, the President of the Public Foundation of Journalists Speaking Turkic Languages Naziya Zhoyamergen and UIDB officials. At the meeting, the development of relations with Kazakhstan universities, which are among the target countries within the scope of TQ, was discussed. It was stated that cooperation could be made with universities to strengthen Turkic unity in the international arena.

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Vice Rector Prof. Muhsin Konuk and Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Süleyman İrvan attended the meeting.

Prof. Nazife Güngör: "It is important that we have scientific unity and scientific sharing"

Speaking about the development of relations with Kazakhstan universities, Prof. Nazife Güngör said that "We want to further strengthen our relations with the universities of Kazakhstan. It is one of our target countries within the scope of Turquality. We want to be closer to the Turkic states. There is a very close unity of language, there is a similarity of language, there is a unity of culture, why should there not be a unity of science here? It is important that we make a scientific union and share science."

Prof. Muhsin Konuk: "We would like to establish collaborations not only in communication but also in other fields"

Mentioning that strengthening Turkic unity in the international arena can be within the scope of cooperation with universities, Prof. Muhsin Konuk said that "It makes us very happy to be together as one nation but as two states. In order for the organization of Turkic unity to be established in the international arena and for this organization to be taken further, the most basic data will emerge from the cooperation between universities. Hopefully, we will prepare this ground and unite. I would like this cooperation to be carried out not only in the field of communication, but also in the field of science, engineering and natural sciences."

Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Süleyman İrvan, who participated in the meeting, mentioned that a wide range of education was provided.

Increased relations with Türkiye will help preserve the essence of the Kazakh

At the meeting, it was stated that Turkish could be used instead of English as a foreign language when cooperation could be achieved. It was mentioned that symposiums could be organized together with joint departments and faculties. It was discussed that the departments of the faculty of communication and the faculties of the art academy could work together. Furthermore, one of the topics of the meeting was that institutions mutually wrote articles for each other's academic publications. It was discussed that joint projects and preparations could be made for Erasmus. Kazakh National Art Academy stated that they want to strengthen their relations with Türkiye and that increasing relations with Türkiye will help protect the essence of Kazakhs.

The Kazakh delegation visited the laboratories of Üsküdar University and received information from the relevant people, as well as the Faculty of Communication and the studios where communication students practice.
