Maiden’s Tower waits for its candidates
Üsküdar University got together with prospective students at the Istanbul Education and Career Fair. This year, Üsküdar University, which is located in the fair with a different concept, has been the main focus of thousands of students given its specially designed Maiden's Tower model. Another surprise for our prospective students was the attendance of Prof. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan. She provided important information to the candidates about their career choice and career planning.
Maiden’s Tower is moved from Asian side to the European
Students showed great interest to Üsküdar University at the fair held İstanbul Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Center.
Üsküdar University which presented students with a new booth that caught great attention.
The candidates who came to the Maiden’s Tower, which could be seen from every point of the exhibition area immortalized the moment.
Üsküdar University academic staff informed the prospective students and answered their questions at the Maiden’s Tower stand.
Prof. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan: “Future holds important developments for everyone”
Üsküdar University Faculty Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences gave a conference within the scope of Education and Career Fair, titled “New professions and career opportunities in a changing world”.
Underlining that human civilization has entered a new transformation in the 21st century, Prof. Arıboğan stated that some professions would be lost due to Industry 4.0, but new branches of profession will be born.
Prof. Arıboğan reminded the students that their chosen professions should be suitable for Industry 4.0.
Prof. Arıboğan also emphasized that areas such as psychiatry, psychology, philosophy and sociology will be at a crucial point in the future.
Prof. Arıboğan stated that it was important to work harder in the past, but nowadays it is more important to work efficiently.
Arıboğan said that the future holds important developments for everyone and that students should not disrupt their morale against the negativity they experience and that every decline in human life is important in terms of experience.
Üsküdar University Chairman of the Board of Trustees Furkan Tarhan and General Secretary Selcuk Uysaler also visited Üsküdar University’s Maiden’s Tower which caught great attention.
