Üsküdar University has Turkey's biggest Faculty of Health Sciences

Üsküdar University, the first thematic University in fields of behavioural sciences and health, continues its studies as Turkey’s health base. Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences is Turkey’s biggest Faculty of Health Sciences with 13 departments and students 2 thousand 950. 

Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Haydar Sur stated that Üsküdar University’s Faculty of Health Sciences is Turkey’s the biggest of its field with 13 departments and 2 thousand 950 students.

“There is no other faculty that has the same specifications” 

Prof. Haydar Sur stated that there is no other Faculty of Health Sciences in Turkey that has 13 departments and continued, “There are 50-55 Faculties of Health Sciences in Turkey. The total departments all together are 16. The 13 of these departments are in Üsküdar University. There is no other faculty that has the same specifications.

There are 13 departments in the Faculty 

Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences consists of Nursing, Occupational Health and Safety, Audiology, Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics, Perfusion, Health Management and Social Services, Nutrition and Dietetics, Child Development, Language and Speech Therapy, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation departments.
