Sigmund FREUD 6 May 1856 – 23 September 1939

Austrian Neurologist. He was the founder of the Psychoanalytic Theory, which proposes that personality develops through 5 different periods and he developed the teaching of psychoanalysis. The essence of Freud's research in human psychology was based on the distinction between “consciousness” and “sub-subconscious”. Based on observations and interpretations of psychoanalytic practices, Freud developed the mechanisms of defense, in particular the Suppression Theory, by explaining the dynamics of the subconscious in the context of the Motivational Doctrine (sexuality and death motive), as well as the three-part psychic structure theory of “Id, Ego and Super Ego”.
