Norman GESCHWIND 1926-1984

Norman GESCHWIND

He was a famous neuroscientist who lived between 1926 and 1984. He is a New York-born neurologist with studies on behavioral sciences with lesion analysis based separation models. In 1962, he became Head of Neurology at Boston VA Hospital. He pioneered interdisciplinary research, including researchers from the Aphasia Research Center, such as Harold Goodglass. From 1966 to 1968, Geschwind served as Head of the Department of Neurology at Boston University.
