Kemal AYDINALP

Prof. Kemal Aydınalp graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. He was an honorary assistant in Ankara University Psychiatry Clinic for one and a half years while he was a physician at the Military Academy Regiment. He completed his residency in Gülhane Military Medical Academy Psychiatry Clinic and became an expert between 1959 and 1962. From 1963 until his retirement in 1988, he worked in the same clinic as chief assistant, consultant specialist, associate professor, professor and head of the department. After becoming an associate professor in 1967, he studied general and child psychiatry as a clinical assistant at the Maudsley Psychiatric Institute in London between 1968 and 1969. Upon his return to Turkey, he established the Child Psychiatry Clinic in GATA Psychiatry Clinic and concentrated his studies and studies on child psychiatry. The Child Psychiatry Seminars were established and became a tradition under the leadership of Prof. Mualla Öztürk. He played a major role in training international valuable academicians and developing child psychiatry in Ankara, Turkey. In 1973, he became a Child Mental Health Specialist. Prof. Kemal Aydınalp continues to work in his office, which was opened in 1972.
