Erik ERIKSON

American Psychologist of Danish and German origin. He has worked on Developmental Psychology, Psychoanalysis and Social Development Theory. He was the first psychologist to use the concept of “Identity Crisis“. Erikson, also known as Neo-Freudian, has produced works in the fields of Ego Psychology and Psychosocial Development. Erikson re-examined the development, which Freud defined as psychosexual development, and which he prepared based on sexual development, under the name of “Psychosocial Theory” and considered this development under the name of “8 stages of human”.
