Abraham MASLOW

American Psychologist. He has contributed to the emergence of Humanistic Psychology and was an advocate of humanitarian approach and Positive Psychology. He wrote Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs. In 1967, he was elected President of the APA. 
According to Maslow's “Self-Realization Theory”, every human being has an innate tendency towards self-realization. In order to become a self-fulfilling individual, all the hierarchically arranged needs must be met.
