Phygital education resumes at Uskudar University!

In line with the recommendation decision of the Pandemic Board of our University on August 23, 2021, within the framework of the decisions taken at the meeting of the University Senate dated August 26, 2021, and numbered 2021-28, education activities will be continued within the framework of the following basic principles in the Fall Semester of the 2021-2022 Academic Year, which will start on Monday, October 18, 2021:

1. In the fall semester of 2021-2022, 40% of the education will be held online, 60% will be phygital, and all midterms and final exams will be held face-to-face.

2. Meanwhile planning, is aimed that some courses are given completely online and some courses are given in a hybrid face-to-face and online manner accompanied by live broadcast in the classroom environment. How the course will be given will be announced discretely from the web pages of the departments and programs.

3. Within the framework of the measures taken to protect against Covid-19 for students who will come to the campuses to follow the course face-to-face:

a) Body temperature measurements and HES code inquiry will continue at the entrance to all campuses,

b) All measures such as information studies, physical distance warnings, and hygiene points will be ensured to be taken in full,

c) Intermittent seating arrangements will be applied in classrooms, libraries, and dining halls in order to ensure capacity control of the campuses,

d) Care will be taken to keep windows open in buildings,

e) In public areas, care should be taken not to be present in bulk without a mask.
