Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan Met with Erasmus Students
Üsküdar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan met with Erasmus students of the faculty. Six Erasmus students from 3 different countries attended the meeting, which also included Faculty Erasmus Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Asil Özdoğru, International Relations and Exchange Programs Office Manager Selim Övünç Altınkök, and student representative Tulin Khulki.
Foreign students shared their experience and observations
Students who came to the faculty in Spring 2021 for learning mobility in the departments of Psychology (English) and Sociology shared their experiences and observations about their education and life in Turkey during the meeting.
The meeting was held in the garden of the South Campus on Thursday, May 27 and was attended by Ante Kulušić from the University of Zagreb in Croatia, Luisa-Felicitas Esch from the Leuphana University of Luneburg in Germany, Andreea Nicoleta Sandu, Ionut Bogdan Pantilie, Elena Andreea Mihală, and Iuliana Georgiana Ghiță from Universitatea din Piteşti in Romania.
Prof Dr. ARIBOĞAN: "We are processing open door policy"
Prof. Dr. Arıboğan stated that they are happy to host Erasmus students in our country and to be with them at our university. Students talked about some problems and interesting events they experienced during the meeting and said that they are pleased to be in İstanbul and Üsküdar University, which continued its Erasmus program even during the pandemic period. Prof. Dr. Arıboğan offered students tea and cookies and said that they follow an open-door policy that students can always visit them.
The meeting ended with a group photoshoot.
