4th International Feminenartfest event and award ceremony was held

Hosted by Üsküdar University, the 4th International Feminenartfest event was held by the Department of Public Relations and Publicity of the Faculty of Communication. The event, which was organized for women who have accomplished successful works, attracted great attention from art-loving women. Awards were also given within the scope of the program. İnci Aral, one of Türkiye's most important short story autjhors, and Asu Maralman, a famous pop singer of the period, were among those who were deemed worthy of the award. Pointing out that the impact of art on humanity has been very strong throughout history, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör said that it is very valuable for FeminenArtFest, which maintains this profound impact, to repeat this meeting every year by making it a tradition.

The event was held at Üsküdar University Main Campus Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall.

The artistic director of the festival was Tamer Levent, while the festival directors were Vedat Akdamar, Mesut Şenol, Özlem Barlok and Şenay Akdamar.

Within the scope of the festival, where it was emphasized that women would be stronger together, an award ceremony was also held for women who have accomplished successful works.

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, who made the opening speech of the event, stated that "It is a great source of pride to be together with this community, which contributes to the art world and intellectual life and plays an important role in the enlightenment of society. You are opinion leaders who lead social development and development in your fields. We should not forget that art has an effect beyond didactic knowledge and develops the emotional world of people by touching hearts and imagination. The influence of art on humanity has been very strong throughout history. It transformed societies and shaped the ages. It is very valuable that FeminenArtFest, which maintains this profound impact, repeats this meeting every year by making it a tradition..."

An award ceremony was also held at the festival

First, the Feminenartfest International Honorary Award was presented. The award was given to Author Sadije Aliti.

Then the 'National Honorary Awards' found their owners

At the award ceremony, National Honor Awards were presented.

İnci Aral, one of Türkiye's most important short story authors, Actress Göksel Kortay, famous pop soloist of the period Asu Maralman, Thm Soloist Nursaç Doğanışık, TSM Soloist Nazire Savran, Author Nuray Gök Aksamaz, Transdisciplinary Artist Nihal Konçu Akhuy, Attorney Prof. Aynur Aydın, Painter Adviye Bal, Prof. Ayşegül Kibaroğlu, Photographer Selda Salman Acar and Nesrin Gönüldağ were awarded in the event.

'Women's Library' plaque ceremony held

Plaques were also presented to the participants who contributed to the women's library at Feminenartfest. The editors-in-chief of the library were Vedat Akdamar and Şenay Akdamar.
