Üsküdar University Completed Academic Board Meetings with Graduate Schools

Within the scope of the 2024-2025 academic year academic board meetings, Üsküdar University recently held the Academic Board meeting of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Graduate School of Health Sciences, Graduate School of Social Sciences and Institute for Sufi Studies.

President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Director of the Graduate School of Sciences Prof. Mesut Karahan, Vice Rector Director of the Graduate School of Health Sciences Prof. Türker Tekin Ergüzel, Director of the Gradaute School of Social Sciences Prof. Gökben Hızlı Sayar and Director of the Insitute for Sufi Studies Prof. Elif Erhan attended the board meeting held in the Main Campus Nermin Tarhan conference hall and academics and administrative staff also participated in the meeting.

At the meeting, academic studies and what needs to be done to increase these studies were discussed.

The strengths and weaknesses of the graduate schools were emphasized

At the Academic Board meeting, the first presentation was made by Director of the Graduate School of Sciences Prof. Mesut Karahan, and Karahan discussed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the graduate school in his presentation.

The presentation of the Graduate School of Health Sciences was made by Vice Rector and Director of the Graduate School of Health Sciences Prof. Türker Tekin Ergüzel. Ergüzel emphasized the remarkable statistics in his presentation.

The presentation of the Graduate School of Social Sciences was made by the Director of the Graduate School of Social Sciences, Prof. Gökben Hızlı Sayar. Sayar focused on the strengths and opportunities of the graduate school, as well as the strengths and opportunities for improvement.

The presentation of the Institute for Sufi Studies was made by Director of the Institute for Sufi Studies Prof. Elif Erhan. Erhan drew attention to the work of the institute and the number of students.

The Academic Board meeting ended with a group photo shoot after the question and contribution section.
