Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences continues to train future health professionals with its modern education methods and strong academic staff!
Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Arif Aktuğ Ertekin stated that they raise individuals who increase public health with interdisciplinary coordination and teamwork and said that "One of our main goals is to train professional professionals who can use education for the benefit of society and humanity."

Pointing out the mission and goal of the faculty, Prof. Arif Aktuğ Ertekin stated that "At our university, we aim to train people who can perform interdisciplinary coordination and teamwork in the field of health, use science and technology to increase the health, development and quality of life of the society, are researchers, respect universal, cultural, ethical and human values, and have sufficient knowledge and skills in their field. It is among our goals to be a respected and innovative, pioneering faculty that can carry out original scientific studies, is recognized on national and international platforms, is accepted as a competence in health sciences education and training in the world, has a say in the creation of plans and policies related to public health."

Stating that they believe that education is the greatest power that can change the world and that education, justice, transparency and love for people are important to change our society and the world we live in in a positive way, Prof. Arif Aktuğ Ertekin said that “It is one of our main goals to train professionals who have high self-confidence and can use science, education and service for the benefit of society and humanity, are trained with modern methods, approach based on science, technology and human rights, in line with the needs of our society, and in line with current information and developments, competent, adopting knowledge production and lifelong learning.”

Stating that Üsküdar University provides education in accordance with modern technology with its advanced infrastructure and laboratory facilities, Prof. Ertekin expressed that "Our theoretical and practical trainings are planned according to the regulations of the Council of Higher Education, the recommendations of professional associations and the principles and requirements of universal science and are given without interruption by using up-to-date technologies. Practical trainings are given in public and affiliated institutions together with our own institution."

Drawing attention to the importance of the practical training programs provided by the career center to the students, Prof. Ertekin stated that "Our students have the opportunity to receive training in the field and introduce themselves in the health sector. This approach contributes significantly to their employment after graduation and our career center is very active in this regard. Joint meetings held with various sectors during the education of our students offer our students the opportunity to work in the field and communicate with the sector."

Talking about the importance of scholarship opportunities offered to students, Prof. Ertekin said that "Depending on the order of preference, success, sports and social situations, they can have scholarship opportunities that they can receive from our institution in many fields. Moreover, candidates are provided with information and support on the support scholarships of various public, private and foundation organizations during the preference and promotion period."

Prof. Ertekin stated that there are many student clubs to contribute to the social development of students and that intensive support is provided to students who want to do research, and Ertekin said that "Our institution has competent instructor, advanced laboratories, digital infrastructure, simulation training opportunities, and we have effective studies and achievements in the field of sports. To contribute to the social development of our students, we have many student clubs, and intensive support is provided for our students who want to do research in research and project studies and patent development.
