We will mutually empower each other, and we will get stronger together."
The event was held at Üsküdar University Main Campus Nermin Tarhan conference hall.

Prof. Nazife Güngör: "Education is indispensable for the development of a country"
At the event, which started with the singing of the National Anthem and Azerbaijani Anthems, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör made the opening speech at the event held within the scope of November 8 Azerbaijan Victory Day.
Reminding that she has just returned from Azerbaijan, Prof. Nazife Güngör emphasized that the most valuable capital is human capital. Güngör stated that "One of the most important features that impresses me is the importance that Azerbaijanis attach to education. Education, consciousness, culture and art are indispensable for the development of a country. I see these values and consciousness in our Azerbaijani people. Everyone is talking about education on the street, or when they are chatting. Another thing I have observed is that educational institutions, bureaucracy and politics are all intertwined in Azerbaijan. They are never stingy in investing in human capital, and they know that the most valuable capital is human capital and that investments in children and young people are very important."
"We will give each other strength and we will get stronger together"
Emphasizing that they will always be together as two brotherly countries, Güngör said that "Every step of yours will be our pride. We will mutually empower each other and grow stronger together. Every good thing that Azerbaijanis are doing is a great happiness for us. I believe that we will stand firm against all imperial powers. We have independence in our soul. As long as we are together, as long as we are not separated, and we are aware of our strength, we will achieve great things."
Peyman Jaferi: "Celebrating this victory is an opportunity to make our common future brighter"
Üsküdar University Head of the Department of International Relations Peyman Jafer made a speech at the event held as part of the November 8 Azerbaijan Victory Day. Jaferi stated that "This meaningful day is not only a symbol of Azerbaijan's struggle for independence and territorial integrity, but also represents the victory of justice, solidarity and determination. Throughout history, the Azerbaijani people have faced great difficulties, but they have always managed to overcome these difficulties with courage and unity. This victory proved the supremacy of international law and justice as one of the unforgettable pages of history. Such victories remind us that nations exist not only by their lands, but by their culture, history and the will of their people. Victory Day carries a universal message emphasizing the importance of solidarity and peace not only for Azerbaijan, but also among the peoples of the world. Therefore, coming together here today to celebrate this victory is an opportunity to strengthen our fraternal ties and make our common future brighter."
Attorney İbrahim Gögsu: "The Azerbaijani people are united"
Turkic States Martyrs' Relatives and Veterans Foundation Vice President Attorney İbrahim Gögsu delivered his speech at the event. Gögsu drew attention to the patriotism of the Azerbaijani people. Our foundation is a non-governmental organization established to ensure the integration and solidarity of the relatives of martyrs and veterans in the Turkic states, especially in Azerbaijan, in the context of fraternity law. Although we were established in 2023, I can easily say that we are a leading NGO in this field. I visited many relatives of martyrs and veterans in Azerbaijan. We are trying to support spiritual integration. We have important projects, our work continues. The Azerbaijani people are united. Their citizenship and patriotism are really impressive."
After Gögsu's speech, the video message of the head of the martyr-ghazi branch of the Surakhani district of Baku city, Gazi-Polkovnik Leytenant Elmar Huseyn was played.
