Üsküdar's Social Innovation Projects attracted the attention of ministries
Social innovation projects developed and carried out under the academic consultancy of President of Üsküdar University Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan aroused interest in ministries. At the meetings where these projects were introduced and their details were discussed, Üsküdar University Project Development Director Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar emphasized the social contribution of the projects and their impact on the future. Within the scope of the meetings held, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Interior, the General Directorate of Relations with Civil Society and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Copyrights gathered.
Üsküdar University's social innovation projects continue to increase their impact throughout Türkiye. The meetings held with the ministries once again demonstrated how effective these projects are with the concrete solutions they offer to different segments of the society. It is aimed to disseminate the projects both nationally and internationally by offering a wide range of collaborations.
Negotiations were held on collaborations with Üsküdar University
The Ministry of Family and Social Services paid special attention to the 'Family' themed projects, which are among the social innovation projects. It was stated that these projects play an important role in strengthening family unity and increasing communication and solidarity within the family. Ministry officials shared their views on the applicability of the projects in all segments of the society, and positive meetings were held on the cooperation to be made with Üsküdar University in this field. Üsküdar University Project Development Director Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar, Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Dr. Sevim Sayım Madak, Director General of Family and Community Services Tuncay Cevheroğlu, Head of Family Education and Counseling Services Department Esra Yaman and the project support team participated in the meeting.
Projects are of great importance for young people
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, on the other hand, closely examined the "Positive Youth, Positive Future" project, which aims to contribute to the personal and social development of young people. It was emphasized that these projects have a great potential in terms of strengthening the future social roles of young people and equipping them with positive values. Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Atty. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Safa Koçoğlu, Ministry of Youth and Sports Youth Projects Ministry Specialist Furkan Gencer and the project support team participated in the meeting.

The General Directorate of Civil Society Relations of the Ministry of Interior also evaluated the potential of social innovation projects to strengthen their relations with civil society organizations. It was stated that the projects created a model for civil society to contribute to the solution of social problems more effectively. In this context, it was stated that the projects could set an example for NGOs across Türkiye. The details were discussed at the meeting held with the participation of Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar, Ministry of Interior Head of Foreign Relations and Information Technologies Department Fahrettin Kaya, Head of Department of the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Civil Society Relations Fatih Günay, and Planning Specialist of the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Civil Society Relations Sercan Yazıcı.
It is necessary to raise awareness about the copyrights of cultural projects
The General Directorate of Copyright of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism touched upon the effects of the projects in the cultural field and their evaluation in terms of copyrights. It was emphasized that these projects can play an important role in preserving cultural values and transferring them to the future. Moreover, it was stated that cultural projects must be compatible with copyrights and raise awareness in this area.
