Hatice Nihal Dülger, who is a 5th year student of the Faculty of Medicine and did her medical internship in the USA last year, completed her internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital, which is affiliated to Columbia University in the USA. Dülger, who had the opportunity to intern with Dr. Llyold Rathner, the surgeon who performed the first kidney transplant in the United States in 2001, had the chance to see surgeries that most doctors could not as a student. Dülger also stated that she had the opportunity to participate and observe many kidney and liver surgeries.

Hatice Nihan Dülger, who is a 5th year student at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, completed her internship on Transplantation Surgery (organ transplantation) at the Surgery Department of the New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University in New York, USA.

She was the first student to complete a summer internship in the United States

Dülger, who successfully completed her internship in the Radiology Department of the "University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center" Hospital in the USA last year, became the first student among the students of the Faculty of Medicine to complete her summer internship abroad, in the USA.

She had the opportunity to participate in many kidney and liver surgeries

Hatice Nihal Dülger, whose internship was accepted by Dr. Llyold Rathner, the surgeon who performed the first kidney transplant in the United States in 2001, noted that she learned a lot of clinical information from Dr. Rathner and had the opportunity to participate in many kidney and liver surgeries.

Stating that he believes that her internship will be very beneficial to her career, Dülger made the following remarks: "When I was a student, I had the chance to see surgeries that most doctors in America would probably never come across. I learned a lot as a result of my internship, which I believe will be very beneficial to my career. I tried to represent our school in the best way possible. I would like to thank my family who supported me financially and morally in this process, my esteemed professor Kenan Karagöz, who was always with me during the stressful application processes, my esteemed professor Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and my university who supported me in gaining new visions."
