The Career Test, which has been applied since 2015, has been an important guide for 1 million 417 thousand 670 people to decide on their career choice. The Career Test, which determines the areas where the person can be successful, has been solved by 15 thousand 885 in the last month to shape their future.

Üsküdar University Preference and Career Counselor Specialist Psychological Counselor Ece Tözeniş, who drew attention to the importance of the career test in choosing a profession, said that the career test prevented a choice of profession and field that the candidates may regret in the future. Tözeniş said that "Approximately 20% of the candidates who take the university exam every year consists of students who have previously settled in the university, graduated from a university or have been deregistered from the university. Students who regret their career choices that are not suitable for our personality traits, interests and abilities are preparing for the exam again and trying to find the department that is more suitable for them.".
6 out of 10 people settled on one of their top 5 choices!
Pointing out that only 59% of the students who entered the 2022 YKS exam were placed in one of the top 5 preferences, Tözeniş said that "These students may have written their own dream university preferences in the first place or realized the dreams of their close circles. The remaining percentage of students may have been placed in the departments they wanted; however, maybe they wrote the departments they did not want just to enroll in a university”. Tözeniş also directed students who have doubts in themselves to take the career test.

Üsküdar University Specialist Psychologist Counselor Ece Tözeniş said that the Career Test, also known as the "Holland Career Choice Scoring Scale", consists of 90 questions. The candidates' 'I like' or 'I do not like' response to the questions reveals the personality type of the candidates. In the Career Test, where the distinctive features of the types determined as 'Realistic', 'Researcher', 'Artistic', 'Social', 'Entrepreneurial' and 'Traditional' stand out, the activities and typical professions suitable for these types are explained.".
