Prof. Dr. Hilmi Sabuncu Occupational Health and Safety Laboratory and Training Field, which was opened in Üsküdar Çarşı Campus in 2019 with the participation of the then Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, is being updated with the latest technology supported by artificial intelligence. The laboratory, which is the first Occupational Health and Safety Laboratory in Türkiye, expands the practice areas of Occupational Health and Safety students. President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör visited the laboratory.

Theoretical knowledge turns into practice...

Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Head of Occupational Health and Safety Department Dr. Rüştü Uçan said that "Our students see the topics we explain in practice here, and thus the lesson is more meaningful. Here we will have created a practical area while teaching lessons. We will also provide trainings from the continuing education center. We have work at height and fire-related sites outside. Both in our field outside and in our field here, we will teach the student in a very useful way.".
