Audiology students on the theater stage…

The theater named “The Ear Forest” organized by Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Audiology Program students was held in Boğaziçi University Alumni Association Merak Eden Çocuk (BÜMED MEÇ) Schools.

Under the coordinatorship of Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Audiology Program Head Asst. Prog. Didem Şahin Ceylan, the script of the theater titled “The Ear Forest” are written by the Audiolgy program students and Actor Tuncay Çağıl well-known for his role in the series called Diriliş Ertuğrul was the art director for the play.

The theater even was held in the BÜMED MEÇ Schools Koşuyolu campus and lasted 25 minutes. The play was presented to students with aim to answer the question “what can be done in order to prevent bullying by their peer against the children who use prosthetics in childhood?”.

In the theater titled "The Ear Forest" which is prepared for preschool children and attracts a lot of attention, explanatory messages were given to the children to learn about the ear that is the organ of hearing by answering their questions "What does the ear do?, How do we hear?, What should we pay attention to for our ears to hear healthy?, What is hearing loss?, What does a hearing aid do?" .
