Prof. Tarhan: "Psychodramas are a therapy method"

President of Üsküdar University, psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan made his remarks on how t theater positively affects the psychology of the person and how provides permanence in the person's memory. Tarhan said that "I hope that this work that is done with such a good intention, will be written as a project and will result in a good way. Writing the game and loving the script are important factors. A person forgets what they hear, and even if they understand it, they forget it again. One cannot forget what they have experienced. Theater provides permanence by keeping the script alive. Art teaches by experiencing. With theater, you teach children to be good people and to experience their values. Using such art in the development of a child is a tremendous work. We also use theatrical methods in our treatments. Psychodramas are a method of therapy. Plays were written for every value.".
