Res. Assist. Yeşim AYIK who was born in Istanbul in 1995, completed her high school education at Dr. İsmet Birgül Anatolian High School with a second degree in 2013. During this education, she was one of the first place of Istanbul European Region in the field of Mathematics at the TÜBİTAK-BİDEB 43rd Secondary Education Students Research Projects Competition in 2012.
She completed her undergraduate education at Üsküdar University Department of Bioengineering in 2018 as coming first student of Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. During her undergraduate education, she took part in studies about tissue engineering and bioreactors at Hannover Medical School within the scope of Erasmus+ Program in 2016 and 2017. In addition, she undertook the task of project manager in the project numbered 1919B011701111 within the scope of TUBITAK 2209/A Program (2017-2018). Yeşim AYIK, who completed her master's degree at Graduate School of Science and Engineering of Yıldız Technical University at the Department of Bioengineering in 2021, continues her studies on computational chemistry and antioxidants. She has articles on the scientific studies she took part in that published in international journals, national and international conference papers.
As of May 2020, she has been working as a Research Assistant at Üsküdar University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Bioengineering.
