Short CV

Tunc CATAL was born in Germany (1980). He finished his high school education in Uskudar Science High School and Bilfen High School. In 2001, he graduated from İstanbul University, Department of Biology with a degree and completed his master’s in the same department in 2004. He completed his doctorate in Molecular Biology-Genetics and Biotechnology, İstanbul Technical University in 2008 as first graduate. In 2006-2008, he worked as a visitor researcher in Oregon State University, Department of Biology and Ecology Engineering. He has spent two years as a researcher on the doctorate for the European Union (FP6) Marie Curie the “Transfer of Knowledge” program in National University of Ireland in Galway.
