Serdar KARAGÖZ (Part Time)

Instructor Serdar Karagöz was born in Amasya. He graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Health Management Undergraduate Program as the top student in the faculty. He completed his master’s degree in health Institutions Management at Marmara University and received the title of Health Management Science Specialist. He is still continuing his doctorate education at Üsküdar University Department of Health Management. After working as a Quality and Accreditation Specialist at Florence Nightingale Hospital for approximately 3 years, he continued his career at the Turkish Red Crescent Society.

He coordinated and supervised the management system establishment and accreditation works of approximately 55 Blood Banks and medical laboratories throughout Türkiye. He trained more than 100 internal auditors. Karagöz, who received his international auditor certificate in 2006, audited the medical and management processes of many hospitals and laboratories throughout Türkiye as the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and continued his certification studies. He was appointed as a Quality Evaluator by the Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) in 2017.

He specialized in Higher Education Institutions Quality Assessment, Joint Commission International (JCI) Hospital and Medical Laboratory accreditation, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 15189 Medical Laboratory Accreditation, ISO 10002 Customer Satisfaction Accreditation, Ministry of Health Quality Standards and establishing, coordinating and auditing management systems in Health Institutions.

In parallel with his duty as the Quality and Human Resources Director of NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital, which he has been continuing since 2009, Instructor Serdar Karagöz has been continuing his duty that he started as the Head of Personnel Department at Üsküdar University in 2012 as the Advisor to the Rector and Group Coordinator since 2021.

At the same time, he continues to conduct part-time hospital management system audits and quality audits of Higher Education Institutions as the external lead auditor. Instructor Serdar Karagöz speaks English at an advanced level.
