Assist Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Karasakal was born in Sakarya. He graduated from Mithatpaşa Şükrü Ayna High School and Balıkesir University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biology. He completed his master's degree in biochemistry at Balıkesir University, Institute of Science, Department of Biology. In addition, after the training he received in 2013, T.C. He became a C-class specialist after successfully passing the Occupational Health and Safety Specialist exam held by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. In 2021, he completed his doctorate at Marmara University, Institute of Science, Biology Department, and graduated. Currently, He works in Üsküdar University SHMYO Medical Laboratory Techniques program as an Assist Prof. Dr.
During his graduate and doctorate education, he attended many trainings in his field, received LC-MS/MS, GCMS-QP2010 Ultra, Biospectrum Gel Imaging system/device usage certificates, made national/international papers, and published academic articles in his field.
