Merve Arlı Özekes graduated from Galatasaray University by receiving her BA in Philosophy in 2012 and her MA in Philosophy in 2013, In 2021, she received her Ph.D. in Philosophy in the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (advisor: Prof. Pierre-Marie Morel) with a dissertation on Aristotle’s reading of Plato’s Timaeus.
Her research areas: Ancient Philosophy, Plato, Aristotle, Philosophy of Nature, Ontology, Literature and Philosophy.
Taught Courses: Ancient Philosophy I and II; Introduction to Philosophy, Classical Logic, Modern Logic, Philosophy of Science, Moral Philosophy.
She wrote a poetry book called Hiç Seslenmemiş Olan (Anima, 2022).
