Mehmet Şah İpek graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. Between 2001 and 2006, he completed his pediatric specialty education at Ankara Dr. Sami Ulus Obstetrics, Pediatrics Education and Research Hospital. Between 2008 and 2011, he received his specialty education in Neonatology at the same hospital. İpek, who received the title of Associate Professor in 2017, became a Professor in 2023.
