İnci KARAKAŞ, Ph.D

İnci Kahraman was born in 1988 in Varna / Bulgaria. After completing her high school education at Manisa Fatih Anadolu Lisesi, she started her undergraduate education in Mersin University Engineering Faculty Department of Environmental Engineering in 2007.

She completed her undergraduate education in 2012 and started her master's degree education in the Department of Environmental Engineering, Istanbul University in 2013. During her graduate studies she worked as a research assistant at the Istanbul University-based TÜBİTAK project on "On- Site Treatment with Aerobic Granule Sludge Technology of Domestic Wastewaters", which was held at Istanbul Technical University and Marmara University. She completed her master's degree in 2016 with the thesis of "On-Site Treatment of Campus Wastewater with Aerobic Granule Sludge Technology".

In 2016, she started her Ph.D. education at Istanbul University, Department of Environmental Engineering. During her Ph.D. training, she worked as a research assistant in the TUBITAK project titled "Treatment of Hospital Wastewaters in a Powder Activated Carbon Additive Membrane Bioreactor." Doctoral studies continue.
