She was born in 1958. She graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Medicine in 1984. She received her Adult Psychiatry doctorate in 1991 as junior doctor. Between 1991-2004 she respectively worked as a Psychiatric Specialist, Associate Professor, 2nd Psychiatric Clinic Supervisor and lastly AMATEM Director in Ankara Numune Hospital.
