Cihan Becan had finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Istanbul Bilgi University Communication Management Department as scholarship in year 2005. He respectively completed his M.A in Marketing Communications and Public Relations at University of Bahcesehir and PhD in Public Relations and Advertising at Istanbul University. The subject of the Ph.D. thesis he completed in 2014 is “The Role of Advertising Appeals for Reproducing Dystopian Ideology”. After he worked for agencies and clients in the communication sector about 7 years, Becan has started his profession as an academician in Istanbul Aydın University and he is working as an Assistant Professor in Üsküdar University. Becan’s interested areas are; Advertising, Advertising Strategies, Advertising Analysis, Semiology, digital consumption and public relations.
