Baver Demircan holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Philosophy from Yeditepe University. In 2010, Demircan graduated from Galatasaray University, Graduate School of Social Sciences with a master's degree in Philosophy. He received his Ph.D. degree in Philosophy from Galatasaray University, Graduate School of Social Sciences in 2017. He worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Philosophy at Koç University (2013-2015). He stayed at the Penn State University as a visiting scholar during his Ph.D. studies (2015-2016). Areas of interest and research: 19th Century Philosophy, Ancient Greek Philosophy, Aesthetics, Philosophy of History, Semiotics and Ontology.
