Ayşe Olcay, after graduating from Gazi University FEAS Department of Finance in 1986, took the announcer exam that opened by TRT and won this exam in 1989. She continued her works on news and programs on TRT Radio and television during TRT was the only channel that make a broadcasting. She left TRT in 1992 and continued her career as the main news and live broadcast announcer on Inter Star and TeleOn with the establishment of Inter Star as the first private television channel. Later on, she worked as the main news and live broadcast speaker on HBB, TGRT, 9th Channel, BRT (Bayındır Radio Television), Technology Channel, Star TV channels. She also served in the production and presentation of economy programs, news programs, radio programs, and documentary production in these channels. After quitting her job as a speaker, she worked as the general coordinator of Tayf agency and its magazines such as Vira Magazine, Vira Maritime Newspaper, Maritime Trade Magazine, Virahaber news portal, Ship Industry, which are the national media organs for the maritime industry. As part of the team that launched the only International Marine Culture Festival that held in our country, she worked for the development of marine culture in our country. Therefore, she took part in the management of the Marine Culture Association and the Seafarers Solidarity Association. Ayşe Olcay, who is still a member of the Journalists Association and the Society of Economic Journalists, is currently working in her own Lycian Advertising.
