Assoc. Prof. Aylin Tutgun Ünal, after completing her primary and high school education in Sakarya, she started Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Program in 2002 at Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty. She completed her education as the third most successful student. In 2009, she received her master’s degree from Marmara University Computer Education and Instructional Technologies Department. In 2015, she completed her Ph.D. in the ‘Department of Informatics’ within the Department of Journalism, Faculty of Communication, Marmara University. In 2021, she received her associated prof. degree from the field of Communication Studies. She worked as a lecturer at many universities in Istanbul. She is currently working as Assoc. Professor at Uskudar University New Media and Journalism Department at Faculty of Communication. In addition, she works as a Solution-Oriented Women's Problems Application and Research Center (ÜSÇÖZÜM) Manager and Scale Development Coordinator. She is working on new media, social media, social media addiction, digital communication, social media literacy, generations, generation Z and youth research, woman studies and scale development. She is currently conducting some studies on metaverse and digital game psychology. And also, metaverse instructional architecture.
