"Sports Journalists Compete" program started

Under the main sponsorship of Üsküdar University, the first shootings of the "Sports Journalists Compete" program were held at Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication. Students from different universities who qualified for the competition appeared before the jury. The project, which aims to train future sports journalists by providing students with practical experience, also aims to contribute to the development of young people in the field of journalism.

Advisor to the Rector Prof. Süleyman İrvan, Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Bahar Muratoğlu Pehlivan, Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Radio, Television and Cinema Department Head Assoc. Prof. Esennur Sirer participated in the competition.

Communication students exhibited their journalistic skills in the competition, which was hosted by Sports Announcer Derya Oruçoğlu and attended by Fotospor Editor-in-Chief Şevket Arslan, Fotospor General Coordinator Cahit Yavuz, Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Journalism Department Head Gül Esra Atalay and Üsküdar Municipality

Students showed their journalism skills

The project competition team who took part and exhibited her journalism skills on the first day of the competition are as follows:

-Üsküdar University Journalism Department students Kadir Ayhan and Ahmet Can Aras, Radio Television and Cinema Department students Taha Eren Başlar and Elif Aksu,

- Maltepe University Department of Journalism students Ata Günaydın and Efe Can Öztaş, Department of Radio, Television and Cinema student Umut Bilgen,

- İstanbul Gelisim University Department of Public Relations Publicity graduate Talha Gündoğmuş.

It aims to contribute to their professional lives...

In the competition that continued throughout the day, students expressed their opinions on the sports agenda and directed the project by talking about news topics.

While the project aims to train future sports journalists by providing students with practical experience, it also aims to contribute to the development of young people in the field of journalism.
