She was born in Aydın in 1993. She graduated from Izmir Science High School in 2011. She graduated from Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine in 2017 and received the title of Medical Doctor. She completed her residency, which she started at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2018, with her thesis study on "Investigation of long-term potentiation-like plasticity-like plasticity, quantitative EEG properties and serum prolactin, oxytocin and BDNF levels in the differential diagnosis of dementia subtypes" within the scope of the BAP project and became a psychiatrist in 2022. Asst. Prof. Yeşim OLĞUN KANTAŞ is a faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.
