Ozan Eren Üçgül graduated from Sakarya University, the Department of History in 2016. He joined Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University’s Turkic History programme as a graduate student the same year. He completed his master’s studies with a thesis titled “Çengiz Soylu Devletlerde Kabile Reisleri” [Tribal Chieftains in the Genghisid States]. Since 2019, he has been a doctoral student at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University’s Medieval History program. He teaches Turkic History and History of the Seljuqs courses at Üsküdar University. He has publications on the history of the Mongols, including a book on the same subject titled “Bozkırın Beyleri” [Chiefs of the Steppe].
