Orhun ÖZKAN was born in Osmaniye in 1990. He graduated from Osmaniye Science High School in 2008. He completed his medical education at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine and earned the title of medical practitioner in 2014. In 2015, he ranked 185th in the Medical Specialization Exam and started his specialty education at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology. He graduated in 2019 and received the title of Specialist Doctor. Orkun ÖZKAN worked at Niğde Bor Public Hospital and Şanlıurfa Education and Research Hospital for two years and completed his obligatory state service. ÖZKAN currently works as a faculty member at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology.
