Dr. Anlı was born in Ankara, in 1972. He received his B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from İstanbul Technical University in 1994, M.Sc. degree in Operations Research & Statistics from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1997, and Ph.D. degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University in 2003. He worked on simulation and optimization of elevator scheduling algorithms at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, Cambridge, Massachusetts from 2003 to 2004. Dr. Anlı was a post-doctoral fellow at Boston University Center for Information and Systems Engineering 2004 to 2005 and participated in research on modelling of lead times and inventory availability in production planning and optimization. From 2005 to 2017 he was a faculty member at the Industrial Engineering Department of Işık University. His research interests include production and inventory management in supply chains, heuristic algorithms, and e-learning applications of planning and control processes. Curently he is a faculty member of the Industrial Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Üsküdar University.
