She was born in 1990 in Istanbul. She graduated from Nevzat Ayaz Anatolian High School in 2008, from Gazi University Department of Biology in 2014 with her Bachelor’s thesis on "Environmental Factors Playing a Role in Cancer Development". In 2019, she received her master's degree from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Forensic Medicine Institute with the Master’s thesis titled "Determination of Zolpidem with GC / MS and Its Importance in Forensics". Currently, she continues her PhD. studies at Üsküdar University, Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences.
In addition to her studies in the field of Forensic Sciences, Sandıkçı, who has a Pedagogical Formation certificate from Marmara University, did her internship at the Police Criminal Department of the Istanbul Police Department. While working as an assistant specialist in the R&D laboratory of World Medicine Pharmaceutical Company, she gained experience especially in instrumental methods and validation.
Sandıkçı, who also has an Experimental Animal Use Certificate; in addition to her studies in the fields of Biology, Forensic Biology and Genetics, Chemistry, Forensic Toxicology, she continues her studies on drugs and stimulants.
She has been working as a Research Assistant in Üsküdar University, Department of Forensic Sciences, where she joined in 2020 as Forensic Sciences Laboratory Supervisor.
