Niyal Akmanalp born and raised in Istanbul, studied Political Science at ITIA (Marmara University) and completed her higher education at Istanbul University and Boğaziçi University. She started her professional life as a journalist. After working as a foreign news correspondent for 4 years in well-known media organizations, she worked as a copywriter, creative director and vice president for nearly 30 years in Turkey's leading national (Concept) and international (McCann Erickson / J.W. Thompson / Ogilvy & Mather / Saatch & Saatchi etc.) advertising agencies. She has more than fifty national and international advertising/creative awards and is fluent in English as well.
