Mevlüt Sait KELEŞ, MD, Ph.D.

He was born in Otlu, Erzurum in 1965. He completed his Primary School and Secondary School education in Erzurum. He graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 1988. Moreover, he served as Oltu Health Group Director and then he worked in Erzurum Numune Hospital Emergency Clinic. He works as TCK 12. Region physician and workplace physician between 1992-1996. He completed his Medical Biochemistry doctorate study in Atatürk University in 1990 and he completed his study in 1995. He started to work as Assistant Professor Doctor in the same university and same department in 1996. He became Associate Professor in 2003 and Professor in 2009. He actively continued his duty as Biochemistry routine laboratory coordinator from 1996 to 2009. He carried out duties of Rector Advisor in Atatürk University and Deputy Chief Physician in Research and Application Hospital in 2008. He carried out the duty of Deputy Director of University General Directorate of Construction for a year in 2009.  He performed the duty of BESYO Director (School of Physical Education and Sports) with the duty of Rector Advisor for 3 years in 2010. He participated actively in transforming BESYOs into Faculty of Sport Sciences in Türkiye.  He assigned to the duty of Vice Rector in the same university after the establishment of the Faculty of Sport Sciences from the vocational school.  He participated as Türkiye University Sports Federation Health Commission in the Universiade Summer 2013 held in Kazan, Russia.  He was pioneer in the establishment of Türkiye’s first Winder Sports Institute. He carried out the duty of Vice Rector until 2016 and he was assigned as Deputy Dean of Faculty of Medicine. He resigned from the duty of Dean after he continued to carry out deaconship of the Faculty of Medicine.  He carried out administrative and academic duties and also guest faculty member and administrative position in abroad during his academic career in university. He gave courses such as Medical Biochemistry, vitamin and minerals, Clinical Biochemistry and Occupational Health and Safety courses in Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Health Sciences, Distance Education, Sport Sciences and Vocational Schools of Health Services, Postgraduation Programs and Doctorate Programs.
