Prof. Mahmut Muzaffer İlhan was born in Manisa in 1981. After receiving the title of medical doctor at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2005, he received the title of Internal Medicine specialist at Ege University Department of Internal Medicine. In 2011, he completed his compulsory service at Sivas Yıldızeli State Hospital.
After completing his Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases Specialization at Bezmialem Vakıf University in 2014, he did his compulsory service at Ümraniye Education and Research Hospital.
After completing his compulsory service, he continued his academic research and publications under the umbrella of Bezmialem Vakıf University, Department of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases, and received the title of Assistant Professor in 2017 and Associate Professor in 2018. Between 2020 and 2022, he worked at Medipol University Çamlıca Hospital.
Thyroid diseases, Diabetes Mellitus, Pituitary and adrenal diseases are among his special interest.
He is married and father of 2 children.
