Furkan Tınmaz was born in Kırklareli in 1981. He graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Plant Production in 2004. In 2007, he completed his master's degree with thesis at Trakya University, Institute of Science, Department of Horticulture and received the title of Agricultural Engineer. He still continues to work as the general coordinator in the Istanbul Çim company, where he started working in 2007. Furkan Tınmaz, who has many national and international scientific publications and presentations, also has television programs presented on different agricultural channels, and many public and private sector agricultural workshops. In 2018, Tınmaz is one of the founding partners of Karaca Tıbbi Bitkiler within Karaca Karaca Züccaciye A.Ş, which started as Turkey's first medical plant nursery and produces value-added products in medicinal plants and Tınmaz made this company the leading and trusted institution of the sector in 2021. Tınmaz, who speaks fluent English, is married and has two children.
