Fatma KÖRÜNOĞLU,

She graduated from Ankara University, School of Press and Broadcasting. Körünoğlu, started her work life in Cumhuriyet Newspaper Ankara office when she was continuing her education and continued her journalism career in Istanbul Milliyet newspaper. Fatma Körünoğlu's television broadcasting, whose news and article series were headlines during her journalism career, came to the agenda in 1992 during the foundation of Kanal6. She took an active role in Kanal6, which Turkey's third private television channel, since its establishment and she became a reporter who signed important news as well as various programs. Later, Fatma Körünoğlu, who was the director of HBB and TGRT televisions, brought the events that changed the country's agenda to the screens. Fatma Körünoğlu took part in the core team of the Turkey's first news channel NTV during the establishment of the channel and she spent most of her career here. Fatma Körünoğlu, who worked in a position that set a wide range of agendas from economic crises, earthquakes, political turmoil to cultural revolutions, came to the fore with the programs and documentaries she made. Taking part in new media studies, Körünoğlu is still the owner and producer of Şapka Documentary Production-Production Consultancy Services. The company continues to make a difference with its short film award from ILO, as well as the documentary titled “Vazgeçmeyenler” that published on the TRT Documentary channel.
