Prof. Ebru Çöğendez was born in Black Sea Ereğli, in 1971. After graduating from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1994 with the first place, Prof. Ebru Çöğendez passed the Medical Specialization Exam in the same year and started to work in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic within Zeynep Kamil Women’s and Children's Diseases Education and Research Hospital. After completing her specialization in 1998, Prof. Ebru Çöğendez was appointed as the Chief Assistant to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Zeynep Kamil Women’s and Children's Diseases Education and Research Hospital in 2001. After working as a Chief Assistant here for many years, she received the title of Associate Professor in 2016 and continued to work as a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Hamidiye Faculty of Medicine at University of Health Sciences in 2022. Currently, she has started to work as a faculty member at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her research has focused mainly on reproductive medicine and surgery, in vitro fertilization, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.
