Cengiz Akyıldız graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Civil Engineering in 1983. In 2015, he completed Üsküdar University Occupational Health and Safety Master's Program with Thesis. In 2021, he completed the Occupational Health and Safety Doctorate Program at İstanbul Commerce University. He continues to work on Occupational Health and Safety of Immigrants. He teaches Occupational Health and Safety. Akyıldız is fluent in English and Arabic.
